SPIRITUAL SENSES
No matter how old we are in the Lord or how mature we are in our faith, there is always more to discover about God’s ways. This is what makes our spiritual journeys so exciting. There is always more to explore in the Spirit. There is absolutely NO END to God! We always need to begin and return to the basics in the Word and the fundamentals of our faith, but I also believe the Holy Spirit wants to add new revelations and fresh experiences to us along our life’s journey which align with His Word and character. God is unlimited and He can show us many things if we make ourselves available to Him. For decades I have been interested in the spiritual gifts and have enjoyed teaching and writing about them, and the topic of spiritual senses has intrigued me as well. I am always fascinated with obscure topics not commonly taught in Christian circles. Even as I was learning about spiritual senses, other ministry leaders began coming forward and started to teach about them. Concurrently, I began to be nudged into teaching about what I was learning. After I taught my first class on spiritual senses, I realized this was a topic most people were uninformed, yet curious about, and I needed to add my voice to theirs. It is my hope this book will challenge you to reach for new spiritual heights and not settle for the ordinary. Once you have experienced Him, you will never be satisfied to look back.
